A teacup
Full of my favorite tea,
Pumpkin spice,
Warm, comforting, and sweet.
Now there are two teacups,
Both are full of my favorite tea,
Pumpkin spice,
Warm, comforting, and sweet.
And more tea appeared,
For both teacups were limitless.
The tea poured and poured and poured
From one teacup to the other.
They were full.
They didn't stop pouring.
The tea spilled into the teacups,
Onto the counter,
Onto the chairs,
Onto the floor.
The kitchen is flooded with tea,
So now the kitchen is a mess.
A beautiful, beautiful mess.
I love pumpkin spice tea,
But I don't think the two teacups
Are enough to hold it all.
I suppose I'll throw a paper towel on it,
And hope that nobody sees the mess.
I'm scared to let it flow freely.
The world might drown in tea
If you knew the love I had for thee.
