This mood board is really more of an illustration, but I really like it! I don't have an advanced enough camera to capture pictures of the night sky, so I doodled stars and space-related things to represent what I couldn't find pictures of.
I think it turned out more interesting that way. I went for a scrapbook/bullet journal organization style and it challenged me to organize my space and be more creative about it (as opposed to using a template online). After all, I always wanted to try drawing in a bullet journal style! I enjoyed the simplicity in some aspects of this piece and it allowed me to represent a style that isn't available through capturing pictures of space. I do think it would've been cool to add some printed photographs of space, though, to add to the "scrapbook" effect.
I already wrote a bit about the theme in the other post, but I'm going to rant some more because I like stars haha. Space is such a vast place, and there's so much to discover! It's bizarre to think that there's more beyond the huge world we live in! And it's cool that there's no gravity in space, the idea of floating around is really fun, in my opinion. I think the idea of hanging stars from the ceiling like fairy lights is cool, since they look very dainty. Also, it's cool how multiple cultures derived similar stories from the same constellations prior to interacting with each other! Stargazing is soooooooo nice too! It's like appreciating the stars for just being there. It's pretty crazy how some of the stars we see have been dead for billions of years. I really enjoy stargazing, especially with people who are important to me (*cough* you know who you are *cough cough*).

P.S. Yes, I'm aware this post is two weeks late. I actually had this post prepared on October 1st, but I wanted to rewrite it because I thought it was rushed! Looking at it today, however, it's pretty much the same. We'll see how consistently I can post going forward, considering that I have midterms out of the way now!
